Rachel Cain is the program services associate at WESTAF as well as the project lead for the Public Art Archive™. She provides technical support to clients and artists and assists in the development of system enhancements for both CaFÉ™ and ZAPPlication®. Cain manages client intake, data population, and the build of the Public Art Archive™ database project. Outside of WESTAF, she serves as secretary of the regional Burning Man group and helps to produce their annual event, Apogaea, a collaborative and experiential outdoor art and music festival with a year-round community following. Cain’s previous arts-administration experience includes working for the Art in Public Places program for the city of Aurora, Colorado, and the Poetry Out Loud program for the Colorado Council on the Arts. Cain holds a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences with a minor in aviation and a master's degree in social sciences. She is a Colorado native, wears a size 8.5 shoe, and loves the color purple.
