1) Executive Director, Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, Sonoma, CA – SVMA is a non-collecting visual arts museum that presents six to seven exhibitions annually in its recently renovated galleries just a half block from the historic plaza. The 11-year-old museum has the largest membership in the five-county North Bay area, has strong community support and serves as the primary cultural hub for Sonoma Valley.
2) Assistant to Two Performing Arts Agents, Opus 3 Artists, New York, NY – Opus 3 Artists, one of the world's leading classical music and performing arts management companies, is seeking an experienced assistant. This is a position where knowledge of and passion for classical music are essential and enthusiasm for dance, jazz, and world music is important. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and extremely detail-oriented with outstanding oral and written communication skills.
3) School of Art & Art History, University of Denver, Denver, CO – One Year Lecturer in Contemporary Art. Teach 6 ten-week classes, (two per quarter) to include western art survey, 1500 to present, and upper-level classes and a graduate seminar in field of specialization. Take active role in BA & MA programs in art history and museum studies. Ability to teach courses on Modern art, women and art, the history of new media, and global issues of contemporary art is desirable.
4) Assistant Professor/Director of Jazz Studies, Columbus State University, Columbus, GA – The Columbus State University, Schwob School of Music seeks a Director of Jazz Studies, Assistant Professor, tenure-track in jazz performance, jazz education, and music theory. Teaching responsibilities include directing student big band and small jazz groups and teaching improvisation, jazz keyboard skills, and classroom theory to undergraduate music majors. Duties also include recruiting for the jazz area and assisting in initiation of a new B.M. in Performance with Emphasis in Jazz Studies.
