Successful applicants must be able to be trained to provide strong customer service and be familiar with web functions related to the formatting and uploading of images and video files to the web.
Knowledge of Photoshop is highly desirable
Need to be web savvy--but not an expert
Need to be able to effectively communicate with end-users via both email and telephone
WESTAF is an arts organization that is heavily involved in the development of technology to serve the arts field. The organization has 22 employees, all of whom work in positions with limited supervision.
The work related to this position can be steady and occasionally heavy, but this is not stressful high-volume production type of work. Any prior experience in a call center environment is helpful, but this is not a call center job. Work is performed in an office environment, and call volume is varied. Most customer support is provided via email.
WESTAF seeks a part-time employee to cover an 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. day. Flexible schedules are available, as long as the business day is covered. These positions are great opportunities for students.
