CultureGrants Online is an affordable and highly adaptive online grants application
system. Designed to serve state, local and regional public arts funders and humanities
organizations, the system was developed in cooperation with a private-sector partner
with a strong track record and significant experience in the online grants market.
Built on a state-of-the-art and highly adaptive software platform, CultureGrants
Online allows arts and humanities agencies to manage the grants process from applicant
submissions to the disbursement of funds.
WESTAF, with the support of the National Endowment for the Arts, provides TourWest
grants for the presentation of out-of-state performing artists and performing
arts groups. Grants of up to $2,500 awarded through this program are designated
by the NEA for "underserved communities." The term "underserved
communities" covers a wide variety of situations. Generally, the term is
meant to describe communities for whom access to the arts is limited by geographic
isolation, economic constraints, physical limitations and historic patterns of
exclusion.
